On Sunday October 23, from 8-11 am, about a dozen neighbors -- assisted by middle-schoolers, kids, toddlers, and with the honorary project mascot dog in tow -- cleaned the north common area adjacent to the stream. The grass and weeds on both sides of the trail were cut back, and new mulch was spread over the trail’s entire length. Volunteers worked diligently, and many introduced themselves while enjoying the sugar (doughnuts) and carbs (bagels) fueling the work. The next common area clean-up will be held in the spring.
